Building a House or Building: Getting a price

We will assemble all the drawings, specifications etc and invite builders to price the project with a set date that the prices are due
We will answer the builders queries and issue any further information required
We will review the prices received for technical compliance, and compliance with the drawings
We will then discuss the prices with you and make a recommendation

On your behalf we will accept a price from a builder
We will set up a building contract between yourself and the builder which outlines clearly everyone’s responsibilities
We will make periodic site visits to check the progress of the works for compliance with the drawings
We will provide any supplementary details during the construction that are needed
We will administer the contract including:
- Issuing necessary directions to the builder
- Agreeing any additional costs
- Checking builders claims for payment
- Assist in resolving any disputes that may arise
- We will set quality standards on site
- We will carry out completion inspections
- We will negotiate and agree the final account
