Building a House or Building: Getting a building consent

  • Again we will discuss your responses to the developed design and make adjustments as necessary
  • We will prepare the necessary architectural drawings and outline specification to a stage sufficient to obtain a building consent
  • We will coordinate the work – calculations and drawings – of the structural engineer
  • We will then assemble the documents, fill out the forms for your signature and submit for the building consent
  • We will answer all the queries that will arise from the checking by the Local Authority, and provide any further information required

Building a House or Building: Completing all the drawings and specifications

  • The drawings we have prepared to date are sufficient to get a building consent only. But for construction purposes many more decisions have to be made and issues resolved. It is better that these decisions are made by you and your architect, and drawn before construction commences, rather than on site, ankle deep in mud!!
  • We will prepare further architectural drawings. the full specification and all documents for pricing and construction purposes. This includes all the significant details of the design
